We congratulate our former classmate and Meisterschülerin Liane Aviram for the The President’s Fine Arts Award of UdK (Preis des Präsidenten der UdK).
In addition we would also like to congratulate all other winners and nominees, especially our former classmate and Meisterschülerin Jana Koslovski.
"The President’s Fine Arts Award is annually tendered in the College of Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 1997, a jury of renowned persons from Berlin's art and culture scene and under the chairmanship of the university president Prof. Dr. Norbert Palz, is rewarding three master class students of one year. The prize includes a monographic catalogue and an exhibition at an established art institution in Berlin.
The unexpected shutdown that we are currently experiencing has also had a challenging effect on The President's Fine Arts Award. Thus, no exhibition of all the nominees could take place, from whose midst the prize winners are usually chosen. Therefore, we are grateful to the jury for having met this special challenge of our time with great sensitivity and for having selected the nominees and the prize winners in an digital jury meetings."
